Halloween activities: Math Recipe!
Activity duration: 15 minutes
Suggested for: 5th and 6th grade students
At Netmath, students and mathematics education are at the center of our mission. We want to make math motivating for all students and show them that math is fun !
With Halloween approaching, we wanted to offer you 3 simple and entertaining mathematical activities that you can print and do in your class and that will bring your students to love math.
The third and last activity we offer you is a mathematical recipe of chocolate cupcakes that you can do with your students from grade 5 to grade 6. The purpose of this gourmet mathematical activity is simple. The measurements for each ingredient have been replaced by mathematical equations. Your students must, therefore, solve the mathematical equations to find the measurements for each ingredient in order to have the complete recipe.
You will find below all the necessary material for this activity. All you have to do is print them out and distribute them to your students! As simple as that.
Now that you have everything that you need, all you have to do is have fun !
3, 2, 1,… let the fun begin!
We hope you have enjoyed all the Halloween activities we offered you and that you had fun doing them. If you haven’t had the chance to try out the other Halloween activities we have prepared just for you, go check them out now on our blog section!
